LifeCare Hospice needs volunteers to support terminally ill patients and their families in Ashland County. We need people who are good at supporting neighbors and friends in one of the most difficult parts of life. We need volunteers who will:
¨ Provide companionship for someone who is lonely
¨ Give a caregiver a break
¨ Share music
¨ Deliver medications and supplies
¨ Help a patient care for pets

The Ohio Senate honored Ohio's Hospice LifeCare for the ribbon cutting of the new location in Millersburg. We are proud to be Holmes County's community, nonprofit hospice serving for over 35 years!

After the dust settled and the final numbers were all in, we ended up setting a new record and reached our goal of $50,000!!!

LifeCare Hospice Seeks Volunteers
Wooster, Ohio - Have you ever wondered how you could help when members of our community are facing the crisis of terminal illness? If you have, you may be interested to know that LifeCare Hospice will offer volunteer training in our facility in Wooster, located at 1900 Akron Road, beginning on Monday evening, February 12 at 6:30pm. This first class is a good introduction to hospice and can help you decide if hospice volunteering is for you. There is no charge and attendance does not obligate you to anything.

Join us for a free screening and discussion of the PBS FRONTLINE film Being Mortal at the Wooster Community Center on Thursday October 26th at 4:30pm.
